It is our aim to deliver a creative curriculum which enables our pupils to enjoy their learning and achieve their best. Links across curriculum subjects are made wherever possible and teachers ensure that there is a real purpose for learning. Sessions are frequently enhanced by drama, theatre workshops, computing and imaginative starting points to engage the pupils.
We encourage children to be independent, work co-operatively with others and think, question and challenge themselves. Whole school approaches such as “Philosophy for Children” support the development of critical thinking skills. Personal development and the social and emotional aspects of learning (SEAL) underpins our curriculum.
