"THIS WEEK'S SUSTAINABILITY TIP"
DAVID ATTENBOROUGH’S 100TH BIRTDAY – On the 8th May, David Attenborough is turning 100 years old. His 100th birthday should be a meaningful moment for all of us. He is a century of living proof that childhood curiosity, when it isn’t extinguished, can change how the entire world sees itself

What can you do?
· The Attenborough Narration Contest - Ask kids to pick any creature or plant they can observe — a bee on a flower, a squirrel in a tree, a line of ants crossing the path — and narrate what they see in their best Attenborough voice. Bonus point for dramatic pauses.
· Make your own Nature Documentary - Take the narration contest one step further and film it. Armed with nothing more than a phone or tablet, kids can become directors, camera operators, and on-screen talent all at once.
· Watch an Attenborough Documentary Together - Choose an episode of Planet Earth, Blue Planet or Life on Earth and watch together as a family - outdoors if you can, under a blanket as the sun goes down.
Our Sustainability Plan page is regularly updated and you can find all weekly Sustainablility Tips added at the bottom of the page.
